The Municipality of Maragondon conducted the annual Alay Lakad on September 6, 2013 with a theme “Lakad Bayan Para Sa Kabataan, Tungo sa Kadakilaan at Kapayapaan”. Participants from the different sectors like education, business, religious and NGO’s attended the event.

Mayor Rey A. Rillo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National College of Science and Technology-Institute of Industrial Research and Training (NCST-IIRT) on September 5. With this, our aspiring students from 18-30 years old can avail the Study Now Pay Later Program of NCST-IIRT with short courses on Certificate in Manufacturing Technology, Certificate in Telecommunications and Broadband Technology and Diploma in Production Technology.

      An Orientation Meeting with Barangay Chairman regarding the Study Now Pay Later Program was held on Sept 12 at SB Session Hall. Mayor Rey A. Rillo emphasized the importance of partnership between the LGU and Barangay Officials in giving the best public service to the people.
