Ceremonial Turn-Over of 1.5M Check to Maragondon

The Municipality of Maragondon was fortunately granted with 1.5 Million Pesos under the Bottoms-Up-Budgeting(BUB) of the national government. One Million Pesos of which will be utilized to start the operation of Bamboo Livelihood Project(Engineered Bamboo) at the newly constructed processing facility in Tulay B, Maragondon, Cavite. The remaining Five Hundred Thousand Pesos is allocated to Yamang Pinoy (Candle Making Livelihood Project) of Shoreline Kabalikat sa Kaunlaran, Inc., a non-government organization at Isaiahville Pinagsanhan B, Maragondon Cavite.
Regional Director Marilou Q. Toledo of the Department of Trade and Industry headed the ceremonial turn-over of the check to Mayor Reynaldo A. Rillo. Along with her was Noly Guevarra(Provincial Director of DTI Cavite) together with some of their personnel.
Shoreline Kabalikat sa Kaunlaran, Inc.(SKKI) came in full force with Marilyn Antiojo(SKKI President), Adorina Lizardo(Board of Trustees, SKKI), Josie Calixto(Project In-Charge, Candle Making Group), Narisa Basco( Treasurer, Candle Making Group) and Remedios Baclea-an(Former Board of Trustees, SKKI).
